Is your dog making life feel impossible?

You love your dog. But maybe right now, life with them is exhausting. They can't be left alone. They react to everything on walks. They don't listen, no matter what you try.

I'm Kim, a Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist based in Harrogate. I help dog owners across Yorkshire understand what's really driving their dog's behaviour, and build a practical, personalised plan to change it.

How I can help

Separation Anxiety

Your dog can't cope when you leave. Every outing is stressful for you both. As a certified separation anxiety specialist, I'll build you a bespoke daily plan and be with you every step of the way.

Behavioural Consultations

For aggression, reactivity, fears, phobias — or anything that's worrying you. I'll get to the root of what's driving the behaviour and write you a detailed, personalised plan. Sessions may be covered by your pet insurance.

Training

From choosing your puppy to navigating the teenage months and beyond. I offer puppy training, recall, lead walking, adolescent support, and general training — in person and online.

What clients are saying

Sophie & Boo

At risk of sounding dramatic, Kim has quite literally changed our lives. We have always struggled getting our patterdale terrier x cocker spaniel Boo to settle for any length of time at home which has been a major source of stress for both us and her. In addition to providing the tools we needed to work through our issues, Kim also helped us to identify the real root causes of Boo’s behaviour and totally changed our understanding of how her brain works. She was also incredibly understanding of how difficult it can be to regularly train and stay consistent when life gets hectic. We now have a dog who happily chills in my home office, or on the sofa in the evening, snoring away…something we’d almost begun to believe would never be possible for us. Boo is still a handful (we wouldn’t have it any other way), but Kim had made us better dog parents and totally changed how we now view any ‘issues’ and how we approach managing them.

Tait's owner

A black dog lying on a beige sofa, sleeping with a piece of food near its nose.

"Kim has been so patient with us and answered all our questions even after the training when we fell back into old habits. I feel so much better leaving a content dog at home who is not anxious."

Lexi's owner

A brown dog with floppy ears sitting on a sandy beach. The dog is wearing a black harness and looking at the camera. In the background, there is an ocean, distant hills, and a partly cloudy sky.

"I was instantly reassured and felt so relieved to have a plan in place. We now have a 5 month old pup that sleeps through the night and we can leave the house for 25 minutes. We have a super strong bond with Lexi now."
